They Said It

“I think we’re all watching [the scoring race]. We see the updated list every day, the updated stats. It’s insane because Kucherov and MacKinnon have been neck and neck all year, 1A and 1B, and McDavid out of nowhere. I mean, he was like 30 points back or something. In the league points at one point, someone said he was 110th. I mean, when he gets on a tear, it’s just something else that we’ve never seen before. (Wayne) Gretzky we’ve seen it, right? If I had to pick one, I’m going to say McDavid. With [eight] games left, he could get 25 points. Like literally. So I think he’s going to come away with it. But one or two points are going to be tight. On the race for the Art Ross Chicago Blackhawks defenseman.
